Great skin essential tricks for the holiday makeup

Are you ready for the Christmas and new year parties and celebrations coming very soon? I mean are your skin ready for the makeup? No matter how good your makeup techniques are, the basic is to have good skin condition for the look to shine, here are some basics to get your skin ready! You still have a week!

Moisturize your skin from inside out:
Omega-3 fatty acids have powerful antioxidants to help moisturize the skin and protect it from the damage of UV. Where can you get them from: almonds, walnuts, chia seeds, flax seeds, and olives (Or salmon is great source for it too!). Why not have an almond afternoon snack to boost your omega 3s?

Water water water!
You've probably heard this so many times, but water is one of the most important nutrient for your body. Other than oxygen, your body needs water to survive. Nearly 70% of our body is water, so it's not just women who's made of water, but men also. You need to intake enough water per day, the suggested is 8 glasses a day (about 1.9 liters), although it varies per person, it's easy to remember. To get a more personalize amount needed, try this online water calculator: http://nutrition.about.com/library/blwatercalculator.htm.

Be a sleeping beauty:
Get 8 hours of sleep a day. Sleep is a time for the body to repair damage caused by stress, ultraviolet rays and other harmful exposures. The body cells produce more protein while sleeping. These protein molecules form the building blocks for cells which allow them to repair damages. Other than that, adequate sleep is also good for your general health, like keeping your heart healthy, reducing stress and inflammation, bolster your memory...etc. So do make sure you have enough sleep every night!

If you can do the above 3 items continuously, I am sure your skin will become radiant and healthy!

Now your skin is ready for a nice makeup:
